There’s just never enough time…

I’m bored and I don’t feel like sleeping (despite being oh so very tired at the moment).  So, I figured I’d put myself by writing…then read it.  Yeah, horrible joke, that pretty much sums up this week.

Moving on.  Been trying to find a place to move (notice the emphasis on “trying”?…and, no, pun not intended) but with “money” I’m currently making at the current job, it’s not going too well.  To top that off, jobs in my field seem to be lacking in the SoCal area, so my hand has been forced: accelerated manager training it is!  Good news is I can be making mad amounts of money quite quickly.  Bad news is that I’ll be stuck in retail (for the short term).  But, it should give some nice management experience (especially if I can get as high up as quickly as they say I could).

Then there’s politics: I hate Hillary Clinton.  Well, hate is a strong word, but, the more I hear from her the more I loathe her as a politician and as a possible President of the United States of America.  If it ever came down to McCain and her, I don’t think I would vote.  I think McCain is too old and too unstable to be President.  Hillary is an emotional trainwreck who seems to have a meltdown everytime she faces adversity.  Not a great quality to have in a world leader.  But, enough of that, I’m hoping to have something down about this years upcoming election in the near future.

Then there’s the damned time change.  I hate this time change.  I’m blaming it for everything…oh, yes, EVERYTHING….bad, weird, and downright crazy that happens this week….which basically describes everything that has happened since I woke up Monday morning.  These time changes are nothing short of useless.  Studies on whether or not it actually saves energy (the reason it’s still around these days) show that any energy being saved is so minimal that it’s not worth the hassle.  What kind of hassle?  How about all of a sudden it being pitch black when the alarm clock goes off when just a few days ago it was bright out.  Or the fact that my internal clock is so beyond screwed up I can’t keep the days straight.  And, of course, the fact that I’m sure many companies have had issues with their systems not properly updating to the new time changes.

Well, I can’t keep my eyes open anymore, so I think I’ll sign off now.  Good night and good luck.  You’ll need the good luck and I’ll need the good night.
